MORGANTOWN: You’re invited to St. John’s 40 Hours Eucharistic Advent Mission! The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed from 8pm Monday 12/8 to 8am Wednesday 12/10 in the church next week! Come adore our Lord! There will be Mission Talks spread throughout the days.

Monday, 12/8, 6pm: “The Greatest Threat to Holiness Today”
Tuesday, 12/9: 11am: A Special Talk for Catholic moms (Newman lounge)
Tuesday, 12/9 6pm: “Pray, Hope, and Don’t Worry: How to raise faithful Catholics and encourage the return of those who have left their Catholic Faith”
Wednesday, 12/10, 8am: Conclusion of the 40 Hours with Mass and Final TalkThe retreat Master will be Fr. Joseph Tuscan, OFM, Cap.
A 40 Hours Devotion is a continuous period of prayer and adoration before the Blessed Sacrament that lasts for roughly 40 hours. This is a special Catholic devotion that involves a parish coming together for an extended time of prayer, contemplation, talks, and Mass. It is seen as a time for a parish to come together for a deep spiritual experience and is a powerful expression of faith.
