Christmas and New Years is a difficult time for many who experience mental health challenges or who are navigating grief. But the coming of Christ at Christmas reminds us that God is present to us in our sufferings and can bring His light and hope into our darkness. Our diocese’s Mental Health Ministry is sponsoring a Blue Christmas Mass, celebrated by Bishop Hying, on Tuesday, December 16 at 5:30 pm at Holy Name Oratory, as a way of praying for those who are struggling with mental health challenges and grief this season. All are welcome to attend, and resources from our Mental Health Ministry will be available before and after the Mass.
