Today, on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we celebrate that Mary, full of grace, was chosen by God and preserved from sin from the moment of her conception. Her “yes” opened the way for our salvation through Jesus Christ. As patroness of the United States of America, may we follow her example of faith, purity, and trust in God’s plan.
