Երեքշաբթի, 9 Դեկտեմբերին, Հայաստանի Հանրապետութեան ՄԱԿ-ի մէջ մշտական ներկայացուցիչ՝ դեսպան Պարոյր Յովհաննիսեանի հրաւէրով, էջմիածնական եւ կիլիկեան Արեելեան Թեմերու առաջնորդները՝ Գերշ. Տ. Մեսրոպ Եպիսկոպոս եւ Գերշ. Տ. Անուշաւան Արքեպիսկոպոս, ներկայ եղան Ցեղասպանութեան Օրուան ոգեկոչման նուիրուած ՄԱԿ-ի նիստին Նիւ Եորքի մէջ, որուն ընթացքին ելոյթ ունեցաւ Հայաստանի Արտաքին Գործոց նախարարի տեղակալ Ռոբերտ Աբիսողոմոնեանը։ Առաջնորդ Սրբազան Հայրը շնորհակալութիւն յայտնեց պրն. Յովհաննիսեանին իր հրաւէրին համար։On Tuesday, December 9, by invitation of Ambassador Paruyr Hovhannisyan, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia at the UN, His Grace Bishop Mesrop Parsamyan, Primate of the Eastern Diocese, and His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate of the Eastern Prelacy, attended the session of the United Nations on the International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide. Among the speakers was Robert Abisoghomonyan, deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. The Prelate thanked Ambassador Hovhannisyan for his invitation.
