Message from Archbishop Henning for the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe: “Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, during these days of the Novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe it has been such a blessing to visit so many parishes over many nights. In praying Holy Mass with you and in experiencing your vibrant witness of faith, you give joy and inspiration to my heart. In a time when society is so divided and there is too much fear, your charitable and loving care of each other and your local communities remind me of the truth at the heart of Advent and Christmas. God so loved the world that He gave His only Son! (cf. John 3:16). That love unites us across our many communities, cultures, and experiences. The dignity of that Royal Son is reflected in each and every one of you. As we near the Feast of Christmas, may the Son of God find welcome in our hearts and homes. Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us!”
