Today we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The feast day commemorates the appearances of the Virgin Mary to Juan Diego on the hill of Tepeyac outside Mexico City in 1531. This is an important day for all Catholics as it reminds us that Mary is our constant intercessor.
