For more than 50 years, Central
Catholic HS has coordinated a canned food drive for Catholic Charities. The event begins with Bag Day when more than 6000 bags are passed out to Wheeling homes. On the bags are instructions to put food into the bag for pick up the next week.

The CCHS Canned Food Drive is now the largest food donation event in the state of West Virginia. CCHS thanks all its students, staff and parents who help with the success of the event and to the Wheeling community for their generosity.
