The final graduating class of St. Lucy Catholic School recently gathered for their 60th reunion! A special Mass was celebrated at St. Lucy Catholic Church by Fr. Paul Birdsall, pastor.
Did you know? St. Lucy Catholic School opened in Houma in September of 1949, expanded in 1951, and closed in 1967. The 1965 class was the final graduating class.
This event was a lovely testament to the impact of Catholic education, which extends beyond the classroom and beyond the decades!
