Please contact your Assembly Member to OPPOSE AB 40 which would force hospital emergency rooms to prioritize abortion for treatment of pregnant patients. The bill is set for hearing Tuesday, March 25, at 1:30 p.m. in the Assembly Health Committee in Sacramento.

Stopping this bill is the California bishops’ top legislative priority at the moment. Your voice matters — even if your Assembly Member is pro-abortion, each voice raised reminds them of the power of our votes.
