You never cease to bless your people, and you are ever mindful of our needs. We ask you to bless and protect our clergy in their travels and for the duration of their time together at the April Institute this week. Bless also all the faithful who will be traveling to the Sacred Chrism Mass. May our hearts be filled with gratitude for the gift of the priesthood and the holy sacraments. Bless our bishop, priests, and deacons who serve your Church with love and devotion. Renew their strength, deepen their faith, and fill them with the fire of the Holy Spirit.Lord, as the sacred oils are blessed — the Oil of the Sick, the Oil of Catechumens, and the Sacred Chrism — may they become instruments of your healing, protection, and anointing. Pour out Your grace upon all who will receive these sacraments, that they may encounter your mercy, be strengthened in faith, and be filled with the joy of the Gospel. May the Chrism Mass be a time of renewal for your Church, uniting us in love and mission.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, our High Priest, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. Amen.
