Dio SteubenvilleAs we continue to journey as “Pilgrims of Hope” during the Holy Year 2025, here is a reminder of the Diocese of Steubenville’s four pilgrimage sites: the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption, Marietta; St. Benedict Church, Cambridge; St. Joseph Church, Ironton; and Father of Mercy Chapel (located at the Franciscan Sisters Third Order Regular of Penance of the Sorrowful Mother’s motherhouse), Toronto.
As Bishop Edward M. Lohse announced during the opening Mass Dec. 29, 2024, “During this Holy Year, and through the usual means – confession of sins, reception of Holy Communion, and prayers for the intentions of the Holy Father – you can obtain a plenary indulgence for yourself or for someone who is deceased.”
