Arch MilwaukeeJoin Archbishop Grob for one of the most beautiful Masses of the year—Chrism Mass on Tuesday, April 15, 2025!
All are welcome to attend the 7 p.m. Chrism Mass at The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in downtown Milwaukee! Worship with us as the sacred oils are blessed and we hear beautiful music from the Archdiocese Choir. Arrive early as seats fill up quickly. Doors open at 5:15 p.m.
The Chrism Mass is the annual liturgy when Archbishop Jeffrey Grob blesses the Oil of the Sick, the Oil of the Catechumens, and consecrates the Sacred Chrism. These oils will be used in the sacramental life of the faithful during the coming year. These blessed oils are then presented to our local parish communities during a special rite on Holy Thursday.
On Tuesday, April 15, we hope you will join us at the Cathedral, which is located at 812 N Jackson St., Milwaukee.
