Today the Diocese celebrated #ChrismMass, where parishes will receive their Holy Oils for the upcoming year. This mass is also, “a manifestation of [our] priests’ communion with [our] Bishop” (Missale Romanum, “The Chrism Mass” (EV), no.2).

Let us pray today for those who will be anointed with these Holy Oils in the coming year, and for all of those who serve the Diocese of Baton Rouge.
