The Funeral Mass for Pope Francis will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 10 a.m. Rome time (3 a.m. Central Time in the United States) in St. Peter’s Square, presided over by Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, Dean of the College of Cardinals.

For those in the Wisconsin area, this will be an early hour, but a sacred opportunity to join in prayer with the universal Church as we commend Pope Francis to the mercy of God.
Following the funeral Mass, the body of the Holy Father will be taken to the Basilica of St. Mary Major for entombment—a site dear to him throughout his papacy.
