This weekend, the Catholic Home Missions Appeal will be held across the United States and in our Diocese.
According to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, this appeal will support more than 70 “home mission dioceses” in the United States and its territories. More than one-third (35%) of the total number of dioceses in the United States are considered “home mission dioceses,” which are often in rural areas with small Catholic populations, or communities that otherwise struggle economically.
