Bishop James Ruggieri will celebrate a Memorial Mass for Pope Francis on Wednesday, April 30, at 6 p.m. at the Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul in Lewiston. All are invited to attend. It is the pope who grants the status of a basilica to certain churches, so basilicas have a connection to the papacy.
