Dio CamdenBishop Joseph A. Williams celebrated #DivineMercySunday with the community of Saint Andrew the Apostle in Gibbsboro this afternoon.
“What a miracle we celebrate today. The miracle of Jesus’ mercy,” he preached in his homily.
First talking about Saint Faustina Kowalska and the words given to her by Jesus, the bishop went on to talk about Saint Paul, “who tells us, ‘Forgive as you have been forgiven.’”
“We have to believe in the #DivineMercy, and then we have to extend the Divine Mercy,” Bishop Williams said.
After Mass, Divine Mercy Sunday celebrations continued with Bishop Williams joining priests in hearing confessions and Msgr. Louis Marucci, pastor, in Adoration, as well as praying the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet with faithful in the church.
