As the Catholic Church continues to commemorate Novemdiales, a nine-day period of mourning for Pope Francis, Bishop James Ruggieri celebrated a Mass for the pope at the Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul in Lewiston, praying that “having served as the vicar of your Son on earth, he may be welcomed by him into eternal glory.” More than 250 people attended the Mass including 10 priests and six deacons.
