• “He was a person of mercy. He was a man of great faith, but he walked the walk,” said Good Shepherd principal Gustavo Torres. “He preached and then he did what he preached. I think that he’s a great example of what our young people can live up to today. I thought it was important that we came here today to honor him.”

      The Memorial Mass for Pope Francis was celebrated by Archbishop Cordileone on Wednesday, April 30, at the Cathedral in Catholic San Francisco. The Archbishop was joined by the San Francisco Interfaith Council, Catholic school administrators, students from Good Shepherd Catholic School in Pacifica, and other community leaders.
