This evening, Bishop Joseph Williams joined the faithful of Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish in Glassboro for a beautiful Mass that concluded with a candlelight procession in honor of Our Lady of Lourdes.
Originally scheduled for her February feast day but postponed due to weather, the outdoor procession made two reverent laps around the parish campus, including passing the parish’s replica of the Lourdes Grotto.
With candles in hand, parishioners prayed together in multiple languages—lifting their voices in the Ave Maria de Lourdes, the Prayer to Our Lady of Lourdes, a multilingual Rosary that included a decade in French, the Litany of Our Lady of Lourdes, and the Salve Regina.
