St. Margaret Parish in Bayou La Batre held its 76th annual Blessing of the Fleet festival this weekend. Archbishop Thomas J. Rodi celebrated Sunday Mass at St. Margaret and later blessed boats and docked vessels during the boat parade. Archbishop Rodi also blessed a wreath that was placed in the water by parish Pastor Fr. Michael Long V, SVD in remembrance of those lost at sea.
