COME, HOLY SPIRIT!
Fr. Zachary Galante is a priest of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee studying in Rome. He shares this reflection on the eve of the Papal conclave that begins May 7:
“Friends-
The city of Rome awaits with eager anticipation for the historical events of the coming days on the eve of the Conclave to elect the Successor of St. Peter. There are media personnel here from every area of the globe, and there is a lot of buzz in the area. It’s all anyone is talking about! It goes to show that even in our highly secularized world, the most visible religious figure head still holds his God-given place. We continue to pray for the cardinal electors, especially asking that the Holy Spirit would inspire their discernment and choice. We also are thinking and praying for the man, whomever he may be, whose whole life will change in a few days time forever. Come, Holy Spirit!”
