Auxiliary Bishop Felipe Pulido of San Diego (at left, from the Diocese of Yakima) along with fellow San Diego Auxiliary Bishop Michael Pham (serving as diocesan administrator there at present), met Pope Leo XIV last summer when the former Cardinal Robert Prevost, OSA, was serving as prefect for the Dicastery for Bishops. Each year recently ordained bishops have the opportunity to meet in Rome to get to know one another as well as getting a greater orientation to the universal Church.
