As Jesus sent out his disciples – he sends out the faithful today!
Every parish in the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston has a Eucharistic Missionary – but don’t sluff off your responsibility!
WE ALL SHOULD BE SHARING our faith and love of Christ!
For the last three years National Eucharistic Revival movement, has built up the Church to be witnesses of Christ and give affirmation of His Real Presence in the Eucharist.
It is time to be sent out on mission as Eucharistic Missionaries.
Jesus in the Eucharist is the answer for our restless hearts. If we truly believe this, then that living faith will compel us to share this joy with our brothers and sisters!
Don’t feel adequate to share – the USCCB is launching a wonderful resource and program for how to teach people in the parish to BE a Eucharistic Missionary.
Take a look at this website: https://www.eucharisticrevival.org/year-of-missionStarting May 18th, individuals and parish groups will embark on this new formation journey as Eucharistic Missionaries. According to Bernadette Kime from the Office of Worship and Sacraments in the diocese, the designated parish representative will be officially commissioned on the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, an unforgettable moment to share your commitment!
