Today, was a very special day at the Blessed Edmund Early Childhood Education Center in Cherry Hill! The Little Servant Sisters of the Immaculate Conception were deeply honored to welcome Bishop Joseph A. Williams for a heartwarming visit with preschoolers.
The students gave the Bishop a warm and joyful welcome, delighting him with songs they’ve been practicing throughout the school year. During his tour of the school, Bishop Williams was presented with thoughtful gifts including a school jacket, personalized stationery, and a special pen, as tokens of appreciation.
The visit culminated with a beautiful celebration of Mass in the convent chapel with Bishop Williams, joined by the sisters, students and their families.
Bishop Williams was especially touched by the children’s heartfelt participation—their prayers and singing filled the chapel with joy and reverence. As he shared at the close of the celebration, “What a wonderful Mass. What a wonderful school. You students are so impressive.”
