• The Bishop’s Appeal is proud to support Catholic Schools, students, teachers, and staff. Dr. Mark Williams, Superintendent of Catholic Schools, reflects back on the academic year:

“This has been a very exciting year! We made great progress on two primary goals—growing our students in virtue and enhancing academic achievement.

Every month at each school, we gave our students virtue awards because we believe that positive reinforcement is the key to get other students to model those virtues as well.

In regard to academic achievement, we reflect back on Jesus’ words in the Gospel of John, Chapter 10, when He says, ‘I have come that you may have life and have it in abundance.’ We believe that the more we enhance academic growth in our students, the likelier it is that they will experience this great abundance in their lives.

Keeping our focus on the future of our students, we will be reviewing our student performance and developing plans of growth for next year.”
