Last Thursday, Archbishop Shawn McKnight gathered with the deacons of our archdiocese and their wives for a beautiful prayer service.
He led them in reciting the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary, offering meditations that reflected his deep appreciation for the diaconal ministry.
During this special gathering, Archbishop McKnight encouraged the deacons to serve as his ambassadors to the sick, homebound, homeless, and imprisoned. Each deacon also received holy cards for the upcoming Mass of Installation to share with those unable to attend in person, along with a personal invitation to join via livestream.
The deacons left renewed and inspired to bring Christ’s presence to others in new and meaningful ways.
