Arch San FranciscoCongratulations to the seven men ordained to the permanent diaconate by Archbishop Cordileone last weekend at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption: Marc Aquino, Brother Xristopher Compagno, Obl.OSB.Cam, Earl Michael David Gabriel, Mark Kroncke, Daniel Roddick, Marvin Sanchez and Michael B. Smith.
“The deacon is a servant,” said the Archbishop in his homily. “He is ordained to be the very image of Christ as the one who came not to be served but to serve.”
