Dio Palm BeachSchool administrators recognized
Dominican Sister Elizabeth Dunn, director at Hope Rural School in Indiantown, was recognized by the Diocese of Palm Beach’s Office of Catholic Schools at an administrators meeting May 1 at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola. She received a plaque from Bishop Gerald M. Barbarito and Gary Gelo, diocesan school superintendent, on her leaving Hope Rural, where she served from 2015-2025, to be prioress of her community. Others honored were Linda Trethewey, who is retiring as head of school at Rosarian Academy, and Christian Brother Daniel Aubin, longtime president at Saint John Paul II Academy in Boca Raton, FL, who died April 21.
