The Ascension of the Lord is traditionally celebrated on the Sixth Thursday of Easter, however many dioceses, including ours, transfer this celebration to the following Sunday.
Though Jesus returned to heaven, he still remains with us and has opened the gates of heaven for us. It is our duty to preach this Good News throughout the world.
