The three newly ordained priests of the Diocese of Portland celebrated Masses of Thanksgiving on the same weekend that they were ordained. Father Thanh Duc Pham’s first Mass, shown here, was celebrated Sunday, June 1, at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland. The Mass was celebrated in English and Vietnamese, and at its conclusion, Father Pham’s mother was presented with a framed certificate acknowledging that Pope Leo XIV had imparted his apostolic blessing on her son on the occasion of his ordination.
