Our Lady of Nareg in Glendale [Armenian]Ուրբաթ, 6 Յունիսին, Թեմիս բարեջան Առաջնորդ՝ Գերշ. Տ. Անուշաւան Արքեպիսկոպոս, այցելեց Մաունթ Հեպրոն գերեզմանատունը Նիւ Եորքի մէջ, իր յարգանքը մատուցելու «ցեղասպանութիւն» բառի գիւտարար ու սահմանող՝ իրաւաբան Ռաֆայէլ Լեմքինի (1900-1959) գերեզմանին, ծննդեան 125-ամեակին առիթով։ Այս տարի նաեւ կը նշուի ֆրանսահայ նշանաւոր խմբագիր ու հանրային գործիչ Շաւարշ Միսաքեանի (1884-1957) կողմէ «ցեղասպանութիւն» բառի իր ներկայ իմաստով առաջին գործածութեան (1945) 80-ամեակը։
On Friday, June 6, His Eminence Archbishop Anoushavan, Prelate, visited Mt. Hebron cemetery in Queens, New York, to pay his respects to the memory of Raphael Lemkin (1900-1959), the inventor and author of the definition of the word “genocide,” on the 125th anniversary of his birth. This year also marks the 80th anniversary of the first use of the word “genocide” (ցեղասպանութիւն) in its current meaning in Armenian by French-Armenian noted editor and public figure Shavarsh Missakian (1884-1957)
