Dio Portland in MaineSome of the newest members of the Catholic Church gathered for the annual Neophyte Mass celebrated by Bishop James Ruggieri at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland. The Mass is an opportunity for the bishop to meet with and welcome those who were baptized and welcomed into full communion with the Catholic Church at Easter. “My hope is that you feel welcomed, that you feel a sense of being spiritually and personally at home in your communities.,” the bishop told them.
