PRAY: NOVENA FOR PRIESTLY ORDINANDS DAY #5 | DEACON RANDY KOENIGSKNECHT: Of your charity, please pray today for Deacon Randy Koenigsknecht, pictured, who is due to be ordained to the sacred priesthood this coming Saturday by Bishop Earl Boyea at Saint Thomas Aquinas parish in East Lansing. Deo volente. So, how is Deacon Randy feeling ahead of the big day? He says:
“As I begin my priestly ministry, I am most looking forward to celebrating the Mass and hearing confessions. These sacraments formed the foundation for my faith and growth, and I am excited to provide them to the people God gives me. I would tell any man considering seminary to not be afraid of what it might cost you. The devil tries to focus us on all the things we might need to give up, but God is not outdone in generosity. As I have learned during my years of study, be faithful and trust in the slow work of God.”
Deacon Randy is a son of Most Holy Trinity parish in Fowler and, upon ordination to the priesthood, is due to become Parochial Vicar of Saint John the Evangelist, Jackson. Let us pray:
