All are invited to join us for a “Mass of Thanksgiving” honoring The Most Reverend Glen John Provost on the Golden Jubilee of his Priesthood Ordination. The Mass will take place on the Solemnity of St. Peter and St. Paul at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, June 29, 2025, in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Bishop Provost was ordained to the priesthood on June 29, 1975, by Pope St. Paul VI at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.
“The priesthood has been a true blessing,” said Bishop Provost. “Blessings come in many ways, by many means, and at various times. When I was ordained a priest, I placed myself in God’s hands, trusting that He would do with me as He wished. Throughout these 50 years I have been humbled by the experiences from which I have seen God’s Will at work and benefited from His gifts.”
Immediately following the Mass, a light reception will take place at the Chancery, 1201 Ryan Street (corner of Ryan and Clarence streets). We hope you can share in this ministry milestone of our faithful Shepherd.
