Bishop Vetter has completed his visit to the Butte Deanery (and surrounding areas)!
The last nine days, which included two of our seminarians touring as well, were marked by numerous visits throughout southwest Montana. A Mass of Jubilee was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima in Dillon (one of the sacred sites for the Jubilee Year). Bishop Vetter also celebrated Mass at Holy Spirit in Butte, Immaculate Conception Church in Deer Lodge, at St. Patrick in Ennis, St. Patrick in Butte, and St. Mary of the Assumption in Laurin. Confirmation Mass took place at St. Patrick in Butte and also at Resurrection Parish in Bozeman. Bishop Vetter dedicated a new altar at St. Peter Church in Anaconda, visited the Montana State Prison in Deer Lodge, celebrated Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation for Butte Central Catholic High School, visited Legendary Lodge to address the counselors during training, and held a meeting of the Diocesan Pastoral Council for the Butte Deanery.
