This morning, the Catholic Business Network of South Jersey met down the shore at Saint Thomas the Apostle in Brigantine! The gathering began with Mass celebrated by Father Ed Maher, pastor, followed by the opportunity for quiet reflection during Friday morning Adoration in the church.
Afterward, members enjoyed breakfast, networking, and an interesting presentation by Nick Sena, Director of Community Development and Partnerships at the Edelman Fossil Park of Rowan University – a world-class destination dedicated to paleontology and environmental education, located in Mantua.
Nick spoke passionately about the “museum that stands out on a global level,” sharing how South Jersey is truly a “hotbed of dino action” and how the park engages people of all ages in the wonders of science and the environment. His presentation also connected these scientific discoveries with a broader call to stewardship – a message that aligns powerfully with the Catholic call to care for creation.
All are welcome to the CBNSJ for worship, networking, and thought-provoking conversation! CBNSJ meetings will resume in August. Learn more at cbnsj.org.
