READ: THIS SATURDAY | CORPUS CHRISTI MASS & PROCESSION w/ BISHOP BOYEA | “WHY I’LL BE THERE” by THANE BELEN, SAINT MICHAEL, GRAND LEDGE: Just five days to go! Bishop Boyea invites you to join him this Saturday, June 21, in Lansing for the Be My Witnesses Corpus Christi Mass & Procession.
Holy Mass is at 10am in the Lugnuts Baseball Stadium followed by a Eucharistic procession through the streets of the state capital concluding at the State Capitol.
But why be there? All this week, as we prepare for the big day, we’ll be sharing the voices of some who have already decided to attend, starting with Thane Belen of Saint Michael parish in Grand Ledge, pictured. Why will he be attending? Thane says:
“Wild horses could not keep me from the Eucharistic Mass and Procession in June. Jesus’ presence amongst us is such an incredible blessing. I watched people in the streets kneel as the Eucharistic Procession moved past them from the cathedral to MSU the last time. It moved me to tears.”
