Those who volunteer their time and talents with the South Jersey Catholic Ministries Appeal were thanked this evening for their role in helping thousands across the Diocese of Camden.
“Your role in this is sacred. Every conversation, bulletin announcement and phone call is a chance to remind someone that they are part of something bigger,” Stacy Napolitano, director of the Diocese’s Office of Development, told the 100-plus volunteers and clergy gathered for dinner at Tomasello Winery, Hammonton.
“Our mission is one to help feed the hungry, educate children, comfort the suffering, form future priests and laity leaders, and much more,” she said.
The annual appeal supports essential ministries at both the diocesan and parish levels.
“Volunteers truly give from the heart, and your time is a precious gift,” said Laurie Lo Presti, associate director of development.
