On Juneteenth we commemorate the emancipation of all enslaved Black Americans in the United States. During this Jubilee Year, we can especially recognize God’s promise to bring about complete healing, restoration, and freedom to all people.
May God guide our Church and our country in knowing how to fight for the freedom and dignity of all peoples.
