READ: TODAY IS THE DAY! Yes, today is the day for the Be My Witnesses Corpus Christi Mass & Procession with Bishop Boyea in Lansing. Holy Mass begins at 10am at the Lugnuts Baseball Stadium. A few things to note:
* Walk-ins are welcome. Even if you haven’t yet RSVP’d. It will be great to see you there!
* It gonna be hot! Bring a sunhat, umbrella or parasol.
* And don’t forget water! You are allowed to bring an empty water bottle into the stadium and can fill it once inside.
After Holy Mass, the faithful will take to the streets of Lansing for a Eucharistic Procession towards the State Capitol whereupon Bishop Boyea will lead pilgrims in Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
The event will conclude with food trucks and festivities on the Capitol lawn. Do bring a picnic blanket.
All in all, this is a rare opportunity to publicly display our love and gratitude to Our Lord, Jesus Christ, for giving himself to us in the Blessed Sacrament. We look forward to seeing you later today!
