Though the path to holiness is not easy, God often uses our flaws or failures to draw us closer to Him in ways we never expected.
In his latest column, Bishop Knestout writes, “Within the Church’s lives of the saints, we find several whose early years were far from the path to holiness they eventually followed, e.g., St. Ignatius of Loyola and St. Augustine.”
He goes on to say that these saints can be inspiration for us in our own lives as God uses our imperfections to draw us closer to him.
