Corpus Christi Sunday Gospel:
“Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, He gave thanks and broke them. Then He gave them to the disciples to distribute… They all ate and were satisfied.”
— Luke 9:16-17Today, we remember: It’s not our job to feed the five thousand.
It’s simply to bring what we have—
our small,
imperfect offering of loaves and fish—
and place it in His hands.He is the One who blesses,
breaks,
and multiplies.
The One who satisfies every hunger.
The One who comes to us still—
quietly, miraculously—
in the Eucharist.
He meets us in our littleness and fills us with Himself.The Bread of Life.
The gift that never runs out.
