Following the 11:30 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph Parish Sea Isle City, about 150 faithful joined Father Perry Cherubini, pastor, and Deacon Joseph Murphy in a Eucharistic Procession to the Promenade on the boardwalk, ending in prayer and Adoration in the town’s Excursion Park.
Father Cherubini thanked those present for “making a public display of the True Presence of the Lord in the Holy Eucharist,” on the Solemnity of #corpuschristi.
Parishioner Laura Andris, participating in the Eucharistic Procession with her husband and young children, said the event “was a great way to publicly show our faith, especially for our children, so they could have an example of us showing our faith.”
