Way to go Central Catholic High School -Wheeling, WV! Students, coaches and their families raised more than $9,500 with a charity basketball night for the Volunteer Fire Departments in Triadelphia and Valley Grove, WV, where flash floods caused destruction to their stations and the homes of their volunteers.
CCHS Basketball Mom chair Lydia Brodegard posted, “We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our community who along with our Central families, made our basketball fundraiser successful. DiCarlos Pizza for donating pepperoni rolls to the concession stand, Jim Palmer/Columbia Sales for donating 50/50 tickets, Undo’s for donating to feed all four teams, our officials for donating their time and money, the Watchdog crew and Pine Room Podcast for being court side and streaming for all our fans to watch near & far, so many media outlets and photographers to capture the moments. Big thanks to our girls basketball, boys basketball, volleyball & baseball parents who donated items and time and to our cheerleaders and softball girls for helping at the concession stand. THANK YOU!
Using gifts and talents God bless you with to bless others! Praise be to God!
