This morning, Archbishop Edward J. Weisenburger received his sacred pallium from Pope Leo XIV during a solemn Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica on the Solemnity of SS. Peter and Paul.
Archbishop Weisenburger, who received his pallium along with dozens of other new archbishops from around the world, assured the Holy Father of the prayers and affection of the people of the Archdiocese of Detroit.
Archbishop Weisenburger said he feels “at home” in Detroit and sent his warmest greetings to the faithful back in Michigan.
