Day of Prayer for Vocations at St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church Tucson📿
On June 27th, the Vocations Committee at St. Francis de Sales hosted a heartfelt Day of Prayer for vocations. Representatives from various ministries, deacons of the parish, and the Cathedral led prayer throughout the morning. 🙏
During this special time, each seminarian, vowed brother and sister, deacon and priest in the Diocese of Tucson, as well as the deacon formation class, was prayed for by name. We thanked God for their service and asked for strength in their ministry. 🕊️ Then, at the end of the day, the names of those prayed for were given to parishioners participating in the Traveling Chalice program, ensuring that our prayers for our priests continue.
