Today is the Memorial of St. Thomas the Apostle. He is probably most known to us as “Doubting Thomas” from the Gospel story of his disbelief that Jesus Christ had risen from the dead, which, in reality, is probably an unfair title for a life well-lived as an apostle and martyr! Let us look to St. Thomas and ask his intercession in those times where we might struggle to see God’s will in our lives or we feel lost or even doubt God’s love and mercy. For even if we doubt, God is faithful and is always seeking us…we can be saints like Thomas!
