• KEEPING COOL!

About 25 children and their families spent Thursday at the Catholic Ecology Center in Neosho. The day began and ended in prayer.

Center educators taught the children about God’s creation and how to use nets to safely catch flying insects and sweep for insects in nearby grasses. Children also visited the on-site farm and were able to feed or pet goats, chickens and pigs. The children played catch with re-usable water balloons, had a wet sponge relay race and explored the Center’s pond looking for water creatures or dug in the sand!

The air-conditioned main building was open for cool-down time, lunch and private prayer in the chapel!
