Merciful God,
We pray for those people living in the midst of tragedy and devastation due to the flood in west Texas. We pray for the repose of the souls who have died and solace for those who mourn them; we ask you to give comfort and strength to those whose homes are damaged or lost, and we pray that those who are missing will soon be found. In Christ’s name, Amen.
